Terms of Use

The straightforward rules for using Planium, sharing content, using AI features, and managing your account.

Updated July 24, 2026

1. Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Use govern the Planium website, web app, iOS app, and related services operated under the My Planium label. By creating an account or using Planium, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be legally able to enter into an agreement to use Planium.
  • You are responsible for accurate account information, the confidentiality of your credentials, and activity through your account.
  • You may not impersonate another person, share access in an unsafe way, or obtain access through unauthorized means.

3. Acceptable use

  • Use Planium only for lawful purposes and respect the rights and safety of others.
  • Do not upload unlawful or infringing content, harass people, distribute malware, or use the service deceptively.
  • Do not disrupt, overload, scrape, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass Planium’s security and rate limits except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Do not use unauthorized automated extraction to build or train a competing service.

4. Your content and collaboration

You keep ownership of the content you submit. You give My Planium a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and provide Planium.

Profile photos and uploaded or generated image files may be stored in Planium’s private Cloudflare R2 object storage. Planium uses authenticated access plus ownership and collaboration checks to return files only where the relevant Planium feature permits them to be shown.

When you share content or send a message, you authorize Planium to make it available to the selected users. You are responsible for what you choose to share and for having the rights needed to share it.

Planium may automatically reject clearly prohibited message content. Users can report messages or accounts and block another account. Blocking removes the friendship and prevents new direct messages and invitations. My Planium may review reported content, restrict accounts, or preserve limited evidence as reasonably needed for safety and enforcement.

5. AI features

AI features use the prompt and context you choose to provide. Results may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, unavailable, or unsuitable. Review every result before relying on it, sharing it, or applying proposed changes.

Before using third-party AI processing, Planium asks for explicit permission to send OpenAI your prompt and the relevant project, checklist, roadmap, voice transcript, or vision-card context. You can withdraw permission in Settings; doing so pauses features that require OpenAI without disabling the rest of Planium.

Planium does not guarantee the originality, legality, accuracy, or fitness of AI output for a particular purpose.

6. Trial, subscriptions, and renewal

New accounts receive 15 complimentary days of complete Planium access without entering payment information. When that period ends, a free account can keep up to 10 private vision cards and 2 private projects and can continue using friend chat. Excess private cards and projects stay stored but locked. AI, Analytics, Roadmap, and sharing require Planium Pro.

When complimentary access ends, the account remains connected to shared cards and projects, but that shared content is locked on the free tier. Other collaborators may continue updating it. Activating Planium Pro restores access to the current shared content and progress without requiring another invitation.

The price, currency, renewal period, and included features are shown before purchase. iOS subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple in-app purchase. Web subscriptions are purchased and managed through Stripe checkout. A paid subscription renews automatically for the displayed period until canceled through the applicable Apple or Planium/Stripe account controls before renewal. Cancellation normally leaves paid access active until the end of the current paid period.

The 15 complimentary days are an account-level access period provided by Planium, not an Apple or Stripe introductory billing offer. They do not begin a subscription or charge automatically. A subscription begins only after the user deliberately confirms purchase through the displayed Apple or Stripe checkout.

7. Planium intellectual property

Except for user content and third-party material, Planium’s software, branding, interfaces, visual design, text, and related materials are owned by or licensed to My Planium and protected by applicable law. These terms do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Privacy and permissions

The Privacy Policy explains the information Planium handles and the service providers that receive it. Planium uses MongoDB Atlas to store account and workspace records, Cloudflare R2 as private storage for uploaded and generated images, Vercel to host the website and server functions, and OpenAI to process the AI requests you explicitly choose to submit. Those providers process information only for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy and under their applicable service terms.

Device permissions such as notifications, microphone, and speech recognition are requested for the corresponding feature and can be changed in device or browser settings.

9. Suspension, stopping use, and deletion

My Planium may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms.

Authorized Planium support personnel may use the restricted Murmillo operations console to diagnose an account, reconcile subscription visibility, revoke sessions, disable invalid notification registrations, grant or revoke promotional access, send a requested test notification, or begin an account-deletion workflow. These actions are limited to support and service operation and are recorded in an audit history.

You may stop using Planium at any time. A signed-in user can permanently delete the account from Settings. The Privacy Policy and Privacy Choices page explain what deletion removes and the narrow situations in which a record may need to be retained.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Planium is provided “as is” and “as available.” My Planium disclaims implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability. Planium is not professional medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Planium and its operators, contractors, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, loss-of-data, lost-profit, lost-revenue, lost-goodwill, or business-interruption damages arising from Planium.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, aggregate liability for claims relating to Planium will not exceed US $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes and contact

Planium may change or discontinue features and may update these terms. Material changes will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
